Our Blessing Box is a resource, to help support families in need. It is located right outside the church, just off of route 96. Currently, where we were not holding in-service worship, we were taking donations at anytime. Although we will accept donations for the Blessing Box at anytime, we are going to try to go back to the 3rd Sunday of the month being the opportunity to give items to help supply the box. Thank you to the many that have given all through this difficult time! Your support has not gone un-noticed in the community to whom are so grateful!
You can find the Blessing Box and Free lunch cooler just off of Rt. 96 in front of the church.
Our FREE bag lunch program started when our community was shutdown due to covid19. We thought it would help feed the school kids while they were out of school. However, the school was able to provide lunches for the kids but we found others in the community had a need. The initial reason for the start of this program/ministry has evolved, and we will continue to evolve as the need evolves. Currently, we have 2 volunteers that come to the church kitchen Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, using all the covid19 safety procedures. On those days they make 50 bag lunches. 25 lunches are placed in a cooler that sits to the side of our building next to the Blessing Box. The other 25 are placed in the church refrigerator for another volunteer to place in the cooler the following day. This is 100% paid for by donations that come from the people of our church and from people of the community. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful people that keep this program going! and we pray the meals are a blessing to those who eat them.
Thank you & God Bless!
We are BIG supporters of our local food pantry! Now with in-person service, we are going to get back into collecting for this amazing cause on the
1st Sunday of each month.
Collection of non-perishable food items can be left at the entrance door and the opportunity to give a financial love offering can be made in the giving plate as you enter the sanctuary, just mark it as such.
Thanks for your support!
Mission/Outreach Committee would like to just remind you of the following ministries needing our help:
Pennies from Heaven – Please do not forget this worthy mission. There are boxes at both the entrance and the exit doors. This money goes to the Phelps Food Cupboard.
Health Kits – These Health kits are greatly appreciated by the Victim Resource Center of the Finger Lakes located in Newark. There is a box at the entrance of the church marked Health kits that you can place your items in.
Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, tissues (small pkgs), soap, and feminine hygiene products.
Thanks so much for always being so generous when a need arises. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact:
