Sunday School
We celebrate each and every child in our presence as a
special gift from God. Caring adults provide age-appropriate experiences of
learning for children from ages 2 though 18. We offer a bright and welcoming
Sunday School area, ready and waiting for you and your children to come and
explore God’s love!
Classes:
NEW this year… our K-5 grade will be using a rotational model program… a
curriculum using many different stations over several weeks to study a
Bible passage or story: cooking, storytelling, video, art, games,
computer and science. (Similar to an ongoing VBS.)
Pre-K… will be using the Live B.I.G. program. Live B.I.G. helps
children see, hear and live their Belief In God. It is a DVD-based
Sunday school resource designed to excite and enrich your children's
spiritual lives by bringing their everyday real world experience into
Sunday school.
Jr. High… this class will be using Faith in Motion which offers
relevant and timely Bible answers to the tough real-life problems
today’s teens face. Class activities capture teens attention by
confronting them with thorny dilemmas & serious questions… and helps
find solutions in the Bible.
Senior High… this class will be doing various Bible Studies
throughout the year. They will begin with: 3V Bible Study… 3V Bible
Studies do not just give youth today's Bible learning; they teach them
how to study the Bible and feast on God's Word for a lifetime!
The 3V (3 Views) approach teaches senior high youth to look at a passage
from different perspectives: What's the Text? lets the text speak.
What's the Context? gives students information on the social and
cultural context of the day. What's Next? moves them to examine meaning
and implications from three additional viewpoints.
Adult Class… will do various Bible studies/topical studies
throughout the year. See Dave Vittum or Jerry Clark for more
information!
Join the fun… learning about God and God’s love. We have something for
everyone and every age!
