Kids will spend a fun filled week exploring and experiencing recipes for
living out God's Word that will help your kids:
 | Enjoy heaping helpings of
God's word |
 | Create a lasting
relationship with God through Jesus Christ |
 | Celebrate the
life-changing love of Jesus |
 | Take God's recipe into
the world |
In
this kid-friendly café full of chef's hats and aprons, pots and pans,
checkered tablecloths, and chalkboard menus, kids explore the Bible
as a cookbook filled with recipes for living out God's word.
Through interactive lessons, that are easy for kids to
apply to their lives today, boys and girls will celebrate
biblical festivals that reveal ingredients for being a
follower of God.
Our daily recipes will instruct kids how to:
 | Be ready for God |
 | Give happily to God |
 | Believe fully in
Jesus |
 | Remember Jesus
often |
 | Celebrate God
forever |
Shake
It Up Café Vacation Bible School includes multiple activity centers for
all learning styles:
 | Begin with the key ingredient of
Bible fun at Kitchen a la King |
 | Pour in plenty of creative
crafts at Tangy & Tart Arts |
 | Mix in hands-on mission
work to help feed the hungry |
 | Stir in sizzling food
science in the Foodology Factory |
 | Sprinkle with recreation
at Spork Sports |
 | Season with snacks
at the Take Out Treatery |
 | Spread with great rockin'
music at Wok n Roll Hits |
 | And cover it all with
God's love |
Registration is Simple

You can register by downloading and completeing the full
registration and mailing it to
the UCP.. If you should need to change or cancel your registration,
please contact the UCP.
Does VBS Cost Anything?
NO! This is an outreach to our
community. (If you wish to support VBS with a
monetary donation towards this ministry, it will be gratefully accepted.)
Volunteers Are
Needed
We can also use volunteers to help with
VBS. You can be a part of this exciting outreach ministry by serving in a
variety of ways. There are sign up sheets at the church.
Bring a Friend!
We love to make new friends! Invite your
neighborhood and school friends! Parents might consider a neighborhood
carpool, or driving as an outreach to your child’s friends.
Drop-Off and
Pick-Up
Safety always comes first! Children ages 4
through Grade 2 should be escorted to and picked up from the building by a
parent/guardian. Students should be taken to the Sanctuary each day (please
try to bee on time so you don't disrupt Opening!). Students should be picked
up from their classrooms each day. Make a plan with older children to wait
for you in a specific location in the building or outside the Ramp Entrance.
Expectations
Parents, please share the following basic
guidelines with your children:
1. We show respect for everyone.
2. This is a safe place for everyone to learn.
3. We love each other as Jesus loves us.
