Christian Education oversees all the educational
opportunities for the Church. We coordinate Vacation Bible School, Sunday School
and other special study opportunities throughout the year. We give suggestions
to the Youth Group Advisors and always seek to include others in growing in
their faith through bible study and small group studies. Through this team

Church Council is the governing body of the Church
making decisions on the ministry of the Church. If you would like more

Health and Service Team is responsible for
developing ministries to those within the church who are in need, those who are
sick or bereaved, those who are friendless. A team of service includes: Phelps
Community Food Cupboard, visitations of the sick and/or shut-ins, meals for
families with a member in the hospital or bereaved, Christmas cookies to
shut-ins, Meals-on-Wheels, host fellowship receptions for memorial services, and
special remembrance (anniversaries). We meet the third Monday of the month, when

Media and Technology Ministry Team oversees,
utilizes, and maintains all technology and media equipment. This
team develops the vision for use of technologies to further the church's
ministry and share the love of Christ in a culturally relevant way.

Mission Team is responsible for enabling the
involvement of the congregation by supporting local and extended mission
programs. On-going programs include: Pennies from Heaven for local missions, Red
Bird Mission labels and coupons, Habitat for Humanity, Phelps Community Food
Cupboard support, and Health Service kits. Other mission programs include: One
Great Hour of Sharing, Tools of Hope & Blankets, Local Annual Mission Walk, and
Sarah Woodard Mission work in Nicaragua. Other events include Ontario County
ELFS Program, Phelps Lions Club Gift Giving and Coffee Hours. If you would like

Music & Worship Team meets monthly, assisting
the Pastors and Choir Director in planning church services and special events, providing music for the church,
and developing new worship opportunities such as drama. If you would like more information contact

Nominating Team is responsible for nominating
individuals to serve on appropriate teams. If you would like more information

Outreach Team is responsible for developing ways of
sharing the Good News of Gospel in the community this includes calling on new
people in town, new member recruitment, and creating a climate within the Church
of care, concern, understand, and love. If you would like more information

Personnel Team acts as a conduit for parish-to-pastor and
pastor-to-parish communications. The team also reviews all paid staff positions
including descriptions and annual performance reviews.

Stewardship & Finance Team is responsible for
establishing Church budget, developing ways of communicating what the church is
doing with its money and informing people how they can "plug" into the live of the
